Current Events HW

I always see photos and comments on my social media talking about girls and judging how they dress. If they wear clothing that is "too revealing" they get yelled at to cover up and are told they are luring in the wrong kind of men, as if a female only dresses for men and never for themselves. If they wear too much clothing they're told they're a prude and should be more fun. No one, including sometimes other women, allow females to just wear want they want to wear and do what they want to do, they have to do everything to appeal to society, not just themselves.



I also always see lots of posts about Donald Trump and how terrible he is and what a bad candidate is and I totally agree, he's an awfully sexist and racist and is promoting essentially an ethic cleansing.

    I mainly agree with the topic on clothing, I feel that in general we should never dress for anyone but ourselves, both men and women.

    Girls being dress coded is also a big issue. Why can a guy have their shirt off, but a girl cannot even show their collar bone?

    I totally agree about both of your issues! 1.) I think expectations of women and their dress is completely ridiculous. Women should have the freedom to express themselves instead of conforming. 2.) If Donald Trump is considered to be a "politician", then I truly fear for the future of this country

    i agree with both of the issues. I find it very unfair that a women is judged by how she looks, and gets blamed by the actions of others. A girl should not be controlled on how they look. A girl has the right to where what ever they want. This can be connected to the school dress code on how is literally built to control girls, must of the rules in place are for girl the boys have like no rules. I agree girls should be allowed to wear what ever they want.

    Girls should dress in whatever clothes they like. They shouldn't be yelled at just because it's too "revealing." When guys wears clothes that are too revealing, they don't get yelled at. This is just completely unfair to the girls. Not only that by mentioning it's too "revealing" it means that their minds are dirty and how they are thinking about inappropriate things. The reason why girls dresses like this is because they want to look pretty. What's wrong with that? People shouldn't judge others based on their clothes or appearance.
